Sale will be held in the Chick Room on the lower level of the library, and will be open during library hours when the room is not [...] We’re moving quickly toward the start of Old Home Week. Today we hosted a reptile show with Reptiles on the Move. About 80 people, including children from Madison Rec Program and Bearcamp Valley Children’s Center, plus several local families came and saw, touched, and held a variety of reptiles from around the world. The deadline for submitting [...] The Friends of Madison Library have been busy getting ready for this year’s book sale, to be held (as always) on the first Saturday of Old Home Week, this year on August 7, from 9 am to 1 pm in the library’s Chick Room. Thanks to everyone who donated books for the sale. We are [...] We’re starting summer with a kids’ book sale today (June 22) until 5 pm. Come grab some books for beach bags, camp, to keep in the car for long rides. Next Tuesday, on June 29, our summer reading programs kick off when Stacy Sand brings a wet and wild “Make a Splash” afternoon of games, [...] Thanks to many wonderful donations and hours and hours of sorting, stacking, and schlepping by a slew of volunteers, this year’s book sale (held Saturday, August 1) was a success.
