Wintertime Play Group: Friday mornings at 9 am Starting this Friday, we’ll be opening the children’s room at 9 am (an hour before library opens) for a Wintertime Play Group for babies, toddlers, parents, and caregivers. Marcia Schmidt Blaine, Chair of the Department of History and Philosophy at Plymouth State University, will explore the relationship between our mountains and individuals who worked to protect them in this [...] Representatives from area libraries, including our own Madison Library, will be at the MWV Job & Resource Fair from 10 am to 2 pm on Wednesday, October 19 at Granite State College in Conway. We will share some of the resources available at libraries to help local job seekers. Madison Library book group will discuss this title at its October 25 meeting. Pick up a copy, and join us, or join in any of the One Book One Valley events. We’re happy to see snow for school vacation week. As the storm continues on Monday, the Madison Library will be closed as our town’s road crews work hard to clear roads first, then parking lots like ours once the blizzard is done.
