Wintertime Play Group: Friday mornings at 9 am Starting this Friday, we’ll be opening the children’s room at 9 am (an hour before library opens) for a Wintertime Play Group for babies, toddlers, parents, and caregivers. Use the children’s room entrance on the left side of the building. If school’s cancelled because of bad weather, so [...] Our summer story times, taking place on Fridays in July at 10:30 am, have featured a special guests from our community each week. This week, Madison Fire and Rescue’s Chief Judkins and Firefighter Colcord came to read stories about firefighters and fire safety and to allow the children to get an up-close look at a fire engine. Adults, teens, and kids 10 and up are invited to come to the library and play Settlers of Catan every other Thursday at 6 pm through the end of March. As the storm continues on Monday, the Madison Library will be closed as our town’s road crews work hard to clear roads first, then parking lots like ours once the blizzard is done.
